OPSC OCS 2021: Eligibility Criteria
- Candidates Age Should be Between 21 years to 32 years.
- Candidates Must be a Indian Citizen.
- Candidates shall able to read , write and speak Odia Fluently.
- Candidate Must pass Middle School Examination with Odia as a language Subject.
- Candidate Must Pass Matriculation or equivalent exam in Odia as medium in non language Subject.
- Candidate Must Pass in Odia Language in Class VI or Higher class examination.
OPSC OCS 2021: Number Of Attempts
- Candidates Appearing for the Odisha Civil Services Exam provided Satisfying the eligibility criteria has total 4 attempts
- The number of attempts for the socially and educationally backward classes if they are eligible then they can attempt 7 times .
- Candidate if they Appear in OPSC OCS exam for the year 2019 or 2020 , if they have exhaust their attempts or exceeds the age limit then in that condition they will be given a compensatory attempt for the OPSC OCS exam 2021.
- An Attempt made in Preliminary Examination shall deemed a attempt for the Civil Service Exam.
OPSC OCS 2021: Exam Pattern and Syllabus
OPSC OCS Exam 2021 is going to conduct the exam in 3 Stages.
- Preliminary Examination (Objective Type Multiple Choice Questions )
- Main Examination
- Personality Test or Interview
Preliminary Examination Consists of two paper of Objectives types carrying 200 marks each paper having 2 hours of duration.
General Studies (Paper 1) – 200 Marks and General Studies (Paper 2) – 200 Marks
General Studies (Paper 2) is qualifying in nature, where candidates need to score a minimum of 33% to qualify in checking for the General Studies (Paper 1). ). For each wrong answer, the 0.25 mark will be deducted.
